District Development Council Chairperson Udhampur Lal Chand, and Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai today kick started the construction of a 3.50 km road from Jakhani Nakka point to Sharda Mata via Lower Bali, funded under NABARD RIDF.
Additional District Development Commissioner Ghan Sham Singh, BDC Chairman Sardara Begum, DDC member Subash Chander, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rafiq Ahmed Jaral and other officers , PRIs, and members of the local community were present.
Interacting with locals, DDC Chairman and DC congratulated them for the realization of their long pending demand of road connectivity to the area. PRI members as well as the general public of the area expressed their gratitude to the UT Administration in general and District Administration Udhampur in particular for meeting their long pending demand for road connectivity.
