Srinagar, Mar 12: The Middle Standard Examination (Summative Assessment) for Class 8th Academic Session 2023-2024 in the Soft zones areas of Jammu and Kashmir is scheduled to commence today. A total of 149,143 students will be taking part in the examinations.
According to an official from the Jammu and Kashmir State Council of Educational and Research (JK-SCERT), the Middle Standard Examination for the 8th grade in the soft zones areas of Jammu and Kashmir will start on March 13, 2024, and conclude on April 02, 2024.
“The JK-SCERT is fully prepared to conduct the examinations for all the students in the soft zones areas of Jammu and Kashmir. All the necessary arrangements have been finalized,” the official said.
In the soft zones areas of the Kashmir division, a total of 81,316 students are expected to appear for the Standard Examination (Summative Assessment). In the Soft zones areas of Jammu Division, 67,827 students are anticipated to participate in the examinations.
Similarly, examinations for the Hard zones areas of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory will commence on March 26, 2024, and continue until April 10, 2024.
