Srinagar, Jan 30: The Jammu and Kashmir government has issued orders for the transfer and posting of several senior IPS officers.
As per the official order, Vijay Kumar (IPS, AGMUT:1997), ADGP, has been relieved from his duties in Jammu and Kashmir to take up a new assignment in Delhi under the AGMUT Cadre.
S.J.M. Gillani (IPS), Director General of Police (DGP) and Managing Director of Police Housing Corporation, will now also hold the additional charge of Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence & SDRF, J&K, until further notice.
Anand Jain (IPS), ADGP Jammu Zone, has been reassigned as ADGP Armed, J&K.
Bhim Sen Tuti (IPS), IGP (POS), PHQ, who previously held additional responsibilities as IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, IGP (Technical Services), and IGP (Telecom), has now been appointed as IGP Jammu Zone.
Suleman Choudhary (IPS), IGP Traffic, J&K, will now take on additional responsibilities as IGP (POS) PHQ, IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, IGP (Technical Services), and IGP (Telecom) until further notice.
