Govt orders transfer of 4 senior officers in J&K

The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered the transfer and posting of four senior officers, including two IAS officers and one JKAS officer in the interest of administration.

According to an order, Shantmanu, IAS (AGMUT:1991), currently serving as the Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) of the Higher Education Department, will now hold the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, School Education Department.

Suresh Kumar Gupta, IFS (AGMUT:1991), Principal Secretary to the Government, Culture Department, has been relieved of his additional duties.

Saurabh Bhagat, IAS (AGMUT:2002), who is currently serving as the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government in the Science and Technology Department, has been entrusted with the additional role of Administrative Secretary for the Information Technology Department.

This appointment relieves Shantmanu of his additional charge in the department. K. Ramesh Kumar, IFS (AGMUT:2000), who was previously the CCF for Settlement & Demarcation, J&K, has been transferred to serve as the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Culture Department, relieving Suresh Kumar Gupta of his charge.

In an another order, Alyaz Ahmad Naisroo, JKAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Anantnag, has been assigned the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Pahalgam, until further orders.
