Chandigarh, Jan 02: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Thursday accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of dismally failing the people’s mandate in Delhi as well as in Punjab.
Addressing media persons here, Chugh said, “All promises made by Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi have fallen flat over the last ten years. The woes of people in Delhi have increased manifold. The education system in Delhi has completely collapsed while the health system has failed miserably to help the poor.”
He said pollution in Delhi has touched new heights making lives of children and others miserable. The administration of the Delhi government is directionless and haphazard because Kejriwal is indirectly controlling the chief minister and other ministers, he added.
The BJP leader said that in Punjab, the AAP government has completely lost the confidence of the people by failing on all fronts.
“The Bhagwant Mann government is completely clueless about the plight of farmers following which there is increasing frustration and disappointment among them,” he said.
Chugh added, “The economy of Punjab is completely crippled as the state is on the brink of bankruptcy. Industry has gone to dogs in Punjab and the border state is facing worst crisis on all fronts.”
