Srinagar, Nov 07: Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Srinagar (Soura) has reconstituted its Institutional Animals Ethics Committee (IAEC).
“In supersession of office order under reference, sanction is hereby accorded to the reconstitution of an Institutional Animals Ethics Committee (IAEC) at SKIMS, Soura, as per the guidelines of Committee for Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA),” SKIMS said in an order.
The committee would be headed by Director SKIMS & Ex-Officio Secretary as Chairman, Prof. Bashir Ahmad Fomda, Head, Department of Microbiology, SKIMS as member, Prof. Mir Iftikhar Bashir, Department of Endocrinology as Member, Prof. Rauf Ahmad Wani, Department of General Member Surgery as member, Prof. Ajaz Ahmad Lone, Department of Cardiology, Member Secretary and Dr. Qazi Mudasir Javeid, Veterinarian, Vet. Lab.,as Member.
