In connection with International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Chief Education Officer Kulgam organised a day long awareness cum interaction program for persons with disabilities at District Institute of Education and Training Kulgam.
The programme was inaugurated by Principal HSS Pahloo Ajaz Ahmad.
All Zonal Education Officers, DIET Faculty, NGOs, Students escorted by Parents attended the programme with the aim to focus on the theme, United in action to rescue the SDGs for and with persons of disabilities.
During the function CWSN students participated in different competitions like National Anthem in sign language, Solo singing, Painting, Dancing, Skit etc.
Besides, the participants were made aware about various schemes and programs of the govt for the welfare of the specially-abled Children.
The toppers of the competition were awarded at the end of the day with the aim to explore the talent.
