Srinagar, Aug 29: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday urged people to use their votes wisely in the upcoming assembly elections.
Addressing reporters during his poll campaign in the Chanapora constituency, Bukhari said, “These elections must lead to tangible positive change on the ground, providing solace to the people in Jammu and Kashmir. This change will only happen if voters choose the right representatives, rather than those they have trusted for decades and who have repeatedly betrayed them.”
The Apni Party Chief connected with residents in various localities, including Badshah Nagar Rose Colony and adjoining residential areas.
Speaking with residents at various locations, he urged them to vote and support him in the upcoming elections. He shared his vision for the development of the Chanapora constituency and the prosperity of its people.
He said, “We have a clear vision for the protection of the fundamental and constitutional rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, in addition to ensuring prosperity and development in this region. We are committed to ensuring the political and economic empowerment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”
Bukhari said if the Apni Party is elected to power, it will implement a range of initiatives to bring relief to the people. “These initiatives,” he said, “include the release of detainees, granting general amnesty to youth facing charges, filling vacant government jobs, regularising daily wagers, creating employment opportunities in the private sector, providing free electricity to households, enhancing old age pensions, providing financial assistance for the marriages of poor girls, and much more.”
