PDP releases list of 8 constituency in-charges in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 19: The Parliamentary Board of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has released the list of 8 constituency in-charges in south Kashmir as part of its preparations for the upcoming assembly elections.
As per the communiqué issued, a PDP spokesperson said these appointments are aimed at bolstering the party’s organisational strength and ensuring effective management across key constituencies.
Abdul Rehman Veeri has been appointed as the in-charge for Anantnag East, while Sartaj Ahmad Madani will oversee the Devsar constituency. Dr Mehboob Beg has been designated as the in-charge for Anantnag, and Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura will manage the Charar-i-Sharief constituency.
Iltija Mufti has been assigned the Bijbehara constituency, and Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Wani will take charge of Wachi. Waheed-ur Rehman Parra, who also contested parliamentary elections, has been appointed as the in-charge for Pulwama, and Rafiq Ahmad Naik will be responsible for the Tral constituency.
“These strategic appointments reflect the PDP’s commitment to enhancing its electoral prospects and ensuring robust representation in the upcoming elections,” the spokesperson said.
