Ball Badminton Championship concludes in Srinagar

Srinagar, Aug 17: The My Youth My Pride District Srinagar Ball Badminton Championship for the 2024-25 season concluded successfully at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh, Srinagar. The event, organized by the District Srinagar Ball Badminton Association in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association and sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, took place on August 16 and 17.
The championship saw robust participation, with nearly 160 players from various schools, clubs, institutes, and colleges across District Srinagar competing in the event.
Mohammad Iqbal, Incharge/Manager of Gindun Sports Stadium, served as the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony. Among the Guests of Honour were Abdul Rashid, Ground Incharge at Gindun Sports Stadium; Ms. Arsheena Khan, General Secretary of the J&K Ball Badminton Association; the Secretary of the District Srinagar Ball Badminton Association; and the Vice President of the Ball Badminton Federation of India.
Medals and certificates were awarded to the winners and runners-up by the dignitaries, who also commended the players for their outstanding performances.
