Akhnoor, Aug 14: The Akhnoor Sub-Division Police on Wednesday organized a grand Tiranga (Tricolor) Rally from Akhnoor Police Station to Nirdosh Chowk. This rally was aimed at fostering a spirit of patriotism and national unity within the community.
The rally was graced by the presence of Mahamandaleshwar Mahant Rameshwar Das as the chief guest. The event was led by SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Lal Sharma, SDM Lekh Raj and Station House Officer Tariq Ahmed. Prominent citizens of Akhnoor also actively participated in the rally, showcasing their commitment to the nation.
A special highlight of the event was the participation of students from Shubh International School, who marched at the forefront, chanting fervent slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” (Victory to Mother India). Their enthusiasm and energy infused the rally with a vibrant and patriotic atmosphere.
Additionally, the event saw the presence of Jourian Police Post In-Charge Sanjeet Singh and Garkhal Police Post In-Charge Anil Singh, who were integral in ensuring the smooth conduct of the rally.
