Srinagar, Aug 13: The J&K Accounts Employees Association (JKAEA) and the J&K Finance Association Society (JAKFAS) organized a farewell and welcome party for the Director Generals of the Finance Department on Tuesday, in Srinagar.
The event served as a courtesy call to acknowledge the contributions of the outgoing DGs and to welcome them in their new roles.
The interaction session was chaired by F.A. Lone, Director General of Accounts & Treasuries (DGA&T). Other distinguished DGs in attendance included M.Y. Itoo, Director General of Funds; Mr. Mahesh Ji, Director General of Codes; Mr. Parvaiz Sajad, Director General of Audit & Inspection; and Mr. Malik Sultan, Director General of Budget.
Their presence added significance to the event. Unfortunately, Ms. Neeraj, Director General of Local Fund, Audit & Pensions, was unable to attend as she was stationed in Jammu.
During the interaction, several representatives spoke, including Ms. Rashmi Deepika, President of JAKFAS; G.N. Tantray, President of JKAEA; Sanjay Sadhu, Vice President of JKAEA; and M.A. Mughal, Provincial President of JKAEA. M.Hussain Khan and other representatives also expressed their appreciation for the work done by the DGs.
The session concluded with a commitment to addressing long-standing issues and making the service more vibrant and effective in facilitating government and public matters.
