Srinagar, Aug 08: In the lead-up to the 46th Raising Day of the 61 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the unit organized a medical health camp on Thursday at Shivpora, Srinagar, focusing on dental treatment for force personnel and local residents.
The event was coordinated by Commandant Sudhanshu Shekhar of the 61 BN, in collaboration with the local Government Hospital, Srinagar. The camp saw participation from over 200 CRPF personnel and citizens, who received treatment from a medical team from the Government Dental College and Hospital, Shireen Bagh, Srinagar. In addition to dental check-ups, free medicines were distributed to those in need.
The medical team included Dr. Sibat Mohammed Haief Mir, Dr. Usman Nazir, Dr. Malik Faisal, Dr. Malik Faheem, and Dr. Rashid Ashraf, who played a key role in the successful organization of the camp.
The primary objective of the camp was to raise awareness among the CRPF personnel and the local community about dental health and to provide necessary treatments to prevent dental diseases. The initiative also aimed to strengthen the bond between the security forces and the local citizens, fostering a sense of unity and cooperation.
