Awantipora, Aug 06: The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) inaugurated a ten-day Python training program on the campus. The program is supported by the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology under the “DIGISAKSHAM” initiative, a collaborative effort between Microsoft and the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
The training is designed to enhance students’ digital skills and employability by providing hands-on experience in Python programming and will conclude on August 16, 2024.
Speaking at the inaugural program, Dr Peer Bilal Ahmad, Head of the Department of Mathematical Sciences, said that the program aims to provide an opportunity for youth to acquire Python skills crucial across industries, thereby enhancing their career prospects.
