In a groundbreaking collaboration between the District Employment and Counseling Centre (DE&CC/MCC) Baramulla and the Dagger Division of the Indian Army, a two-day Mega Job Fair was inaugurated at NOU JAWAAN Club Boniyar.
The event, graced by Gen Rajesh Sethi, GOC of Dagger Division, and Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Baramulla Aijaz Abdullah Sharaf, aimed to provide diverse employment opportunities for educated youth in the district.
With a participation of 1723 job seekers, the job fair served as a unique platform where 23 employers from different sectors including Banking, Finance, Insurance, IT, and more, interacted with the potential candidates. The event marked a significant milestone as 18 candidates received on-the-spot job offer letters, and 144 were shortlisted for further rounds.
