3rd J&K UT level Yogasana Sports championship concludes in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 07: The day two long 3rd J&K (UT) level Yogasana Sports championship for cadet, sub-junior, junior, senior including both boys and girls categories held at Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Sports complex Srinagar concluded on Friday.
As per official more than 360 athletes from 16 districts of J&K including both male and female in different age groups participated in the said championship.
NuzhatGul, Secretary J&K Sports Council was Chief Guest while as NuzhatAra Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir, Dr.RaqibRasoolParray Joint Secretary, J&K Yogasana Sports Association were guests of honour on the occasion.
The Yogasana championship was held under the “My Youth My Pride” program and was organised by Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir YogasanaSports Association, an affiliated unit of National Yogasana Sports Federation.
Four events including Preliminary Round for beginners, Traditional Yogasana, Artistic Single and Pair and Rhythmic pair were held on the occasion.
Abhishek Sharma and FurkanSopori in boys category, while Soumya Gupta and ToibaNazir in girls category were declared best players of the championship.
The championship was held under the guidance of Anil Gupta , Yoga Coach, RCC Jammu , Shabir Ahmad Dar, RCC , Sringar, Suresh Kumar , NIS Yoga Coach, representative , LadakhYogasana Sports Association.
