26 injured in Reasi bus accident

Jammu, Aug 11: Twenty-six people were injured on Monday when a bus met with an accident in Reasi district of Jammu region in the afternoon.According to police officials, all the injured are out of danger.Some have been discharged from the hospital, while others are still receiving treatment at the District Hospital, Reasi, a police official said.He said the incident occurred in the Seela area of Reasi when the bus, bearing registration number JK02BE-8355, was traveling from Reasi to Katra. The vehicle met with an accident mid-route.Immediately after the mishap, police and local residents rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to the District Hospital for medical treatment.The police have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
