Youth National Volleyball C’ship: J&K defeat Maharashtra

Srinagar, Dec 17: J&K Youth Volleyball Men on Saturday defeated Maharashtra in the second match by sets 3-0 and score 25-23, 25-17 and 25-18.
Vipan Kumar, Mohd Riaz and Sumit Singh played an excellent game. On Friday, J&K lost against Andhra Pradesh by sets 3-1 and score 15-25, 21-25, 25-19 and 23-25. All players of the J&K Youth Volleyball Men team played well. 
This year, the 25th Youth National Volleyball Championship is being organized by Madhya Pradesh Volleyball Association under the aegis of the Volleyball Federation of India, from December 16 to 22 at Panna, MP. J&K will play the next match against Chandigarh. J&K Youth Volleyball team is placed in pool-B. They will play next matches against Uttarakhand, Tripura and Rajasthan.
