J&K AAP delegation visits Mohalla Clinic in Punjab, want to replicate it in JKUT

Punjab, Oct 01: In order to have first-hand knowledge of services provided to people through Mohalla Clinic and mode of its establishment, a delegation of AamAadmi Party (AAP) leaders from Jammu and Kashmir Saturday visited Punjab and visited a Mohalla Clinic.
A statement from the AAP said that the delegation of leaders from J&K was received by Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains, who is also election in-charge of Jammu province while delegation was led by Jammu and Kashmir Organization Building InchargeMunishKaushik and Jammu Province Incharge Gaurav Sharma.
The delegation visited a Mohalla Clinic where the staff appraised them of the mode of establishment, mode of working of this clinic and how the entire system is on online mode with an aim to ensure quick services using online platforms.
The staff members also appraised the delegation members of basic healthcare services provided to the patients in the clinic which is a one roof structure to avail different kinds of medical and allied services.
Addressing the delegation, Jammu province election in-charge and cabinet minister in Punjab, Harjot Singh Bains said that healthcare model and especially the mohalla clinic is a unique initiative of AamAadmi Party government and is receiving international level recognition and attracting attention of people.
He said that this model of healthcare will be replicated by the AamAadmi Party in Jammu and Kashmir when voted to power and the day is not far when people from Jammu and Kashmir will also find these advanced medical units at their door steps.
BR Kundal, AamAadmi Party leader said that this healthcare model proves administrative mettle of AamAadmi Party and is providing much needed respite to people in availing healthcare services at their doorsteps.
Kundal said that AamAadmi Party will spread this message of healthcare services in Jammu and Kashmir
