A Youth on Sunday died after he fell into the pond in Fish Point Sonamarg area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Reports said that Youth identified as Inayat Yousuf Dar (22) Son of Mohd Yousuf Dar a resident of Gowharpora Chadora Budgam was on a trip in Sonamarg.
The reports further said that the youth drowned after he fell into the pond near Fish Point Sonamarg.
Soon, after the incident police party from Police station Sonamarg along with his friends and Locals reached the spot and retrieved him in a critical condition from water and took him to PHC Sonamarg where doctors declared him brought dead.
Pertinently last week a 14 year old Student from Baramulla also lost his life after drowned in the same pond while taking a bath.
Sonamarg Police registered a case in this regard and started further investigation.
