The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), an initiative dedicated to comprehensive development, has successfully concluded on Day 15 in District Pulwama, covering an impressive 148 panchayats till date.

Having commenced on November 25, 2023, the Yatra is poised to encompass all 190 Panchayats within the district.

A significant event took place at Panchayat Halqa Newa, where a mega program unfolded, graced by the presence of Member Parliament (MP) Rajya Sabha, Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana.

The MP engaged in an extensive exploration of stalls established by various departments, including agriculture, horticulture, social welfare, employment, banking, ICDS, showcasing diverse schemes and accomplishments.

Highlights of the day were sports activities, featuring students exhibiting teamwork in games such as tug of war. Various beneficiaries were honored, emphasizing the tangible impact of government initiatives on the community.

MP Rajya Sabha administered the Viksit Bharat Sankalp pledge, resonating with the gathered audience. The Hon’ble Prime Minister’s message on the Yatra’s objectives was conveyed, fostering a deep understanding among the participants.

A crucial aspect of the event was the showcasing of interaction between the Hon’ble Prime Minister and beneficiaries across the Nation, providing valuable insights into the real-life impact of Government schemes. Integrated IEC vans traversed Panchayats, effectively showcasing the Yatra’s mission.

In his address, the MP emphasized the program’s primary goal—to bring Government services to the doorstep of every citizen, ensuring that no one has to seek out the Government. He underscored the commitment of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra to achieving saturation of Government schemes, ultimately benefiting every individual.

The event witnessed robust participation from the public, as well as District and Sectoral officers, reaffirming the collective commitment towards building a developed and empowered region.
