Bangladeshi wicketkeeper Nur-ul-Hassan Wednesday urged youth of Jammu and Kashmir to work hard and maintain honesty if they want to earn fame internationally.

Hassan who is currently on Kashmir visit told Kashmir News Service (KNS) exclusively at famous tourist destination Pahalgam that if youth of Jammu and Kashmir are aspiring to make their name at international level then there is no alternative other than to work hard and maintain honesty.

“Kashmir is really a nice place to visit. People here are also humble. I am enjoying this trip with full zeal and zest,” Hassan told KNS, and added, “I extend my best wishes to everyone here and seek prayers from my people”.

Hassan who has played many five-day, ODI’s, T20 matches and earned a fame globally said that he loves Indian former captain Mahinder Singh Dhoni very much. “Though everyone is playing good and impressive, but I always liked MS Dhone for his exclusive skills and leadership which inspired me a lot,” Hassan said.

“Kashmir is very beautiful place. Every visitor should come here. I am impressed by the friendly behavior of Kashmiri people,” he added.

Notably Nur-ul-Hassan was only the fifth wicketkeeper to make an ODI debut since Mushfiqur’s career began in 2006. He spent three years atthe Under19 level, playing in two World Cups in 2010 and 2012. He broke through in the 2013-14 season, making 489 runs in the National Cricket League, averaging 81.50 with two centuries. (KNS)
