Budgam, June 22: The annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Ali Allaudin Khansahib Bukhari (RA) was commemorated on Saturday at Chewdara village in Beerwah tehsil of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The event saw hundreds of people, including men and elders from various parts of Beerwah Tehsil, participate in night-long prayers.
A large gathering of people from all walks of life thronged the shrine to attend the midday prayers. Special prayers were held for the peace and prosperity of the Kashmir valley. The shrine was beautifully illuminated, and numerous vendors set up stalls selling a variety of items for the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Bashir Ahmad Sheikh, a respected person in the area, highlighted the significance of the annual Urs celebration for Syed Ali Allaudin Khansahib Bukhari (RA) in Chewdara village. He said prayers were offered for the well-being of the Kashmir Valley.
