Srinagar, July 15: Yianna, a Ukrainian citizen, embarked on the sacred Shri Amarnathji Yatra to express her profound gratitude and pay her respects to Lord Shiva. Her spiritual journey was filled with exceptional arrangements made by the organizers and a warm reception from the locals, leaving her with a deep sense of fulfillment.
The ongoing Amarnath Yatra, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir administration, proved to be the best spiritual journey of Yianna’s life. She made the decision to undertake the pilgrimage this year out of her devotion to Lord Shiva.
Expressing her heartfelt appreciation, Yianna praised the meticulous organization and arrangements that made her journey smooth and pleasant. She was particularly moved by the hospitality extended by the people she encountered along the way.
“I met the most incredible people. They not only opened their camps and homes but their hearts for me,” Yianna shared, emphasizing the genuine warmth she received from fellow yatris. The Panjtarni Camp, in particular, left a lasting impression on her, as it became a home away from home.
“The Panjtarni Camp has been like a family to me. They took me in as a refugee and made sure I was safe and very comfortable,” she expressed gratefully. Throughout her stay, the camp’s residents warmly embraced her, making her feel like part of their family.
Yianna praised the top-notch arrangements for food, sanitation, and other amenities that enhanced her yatra experience. The quality of these arrangements, along with prompt and efficient medical services, ensured the well-being of all pilgrims.
“This is one of the best journeys I have ever undertaken. The medical personnel are always there to assist. It is one of the best spiritual journeys in my life. People should come here and enjoy the local hospitality,” Yianna urged, encouraging others to embark on this sacred pilgrimage.
Her sentiments echoed those of two foreign nationals from California, United States, who fulfilled their 40-year-old dream by undertaking the Amarnath Yatra. Inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda’s idea of spirituality, they also expressed satisfaction and pleasure with the wide range of arrangements made for their convenience.
The Amarnath Yatra, spanning 62 days, attracts thousands of yatris who traverse mountainous routes along the Pahalgam and Baltal axis with great fervor to perform darshan at the Holy Cave. To make this religious pilgrimage a memorable and lifelong experience, around 30 government departments are providing their services relentlessly.
The dedication and efforts of the officers and officials involved in extending essential services and basic amenities at every destination have been widely appreciated by the pilgrims.
