Camp Coordinator, Sanjog Mishra, who is the Guide Captain led the flag bearing ceremony during the inaugural programme. The ceremony also witnessed the formation of troupes and the assignment of patrols, under the supervision of Scout Leader, JP Bhakhriwal. These activities were designed to foster teamwork and leadership skills among the young participants.
The highlight of the camp was the Scarf Ceremony, a symbolic representation of unity among the participants as well as programmes allowing students to exchange cultural expressions, surpassing regional boundaries.
Addressing the participants, Principal of KV No.1 Srinagar, Amarjyoti Sharma encapsulated the essence of this event and the values it aimed to impart to the young scouts and guides. This Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp not only demonstrated the commitment of these young participants but also reinforced the significance of the Scout and Guide movement in shaping the leaders of tomorrow. It served as an example of unity in diversity, transcending cultural and regional barriers to create an environment of harmony and understanding.
