Budgam, Nov 26: Tourists from different states have flocked to Kashmir to witness the snowfall first-hand and to experience the unique charm of winter.

Arpan, a tourist from Kolkata, shared with Rising Kashmir that this was his first visit to the Kashmir Valley. He expressed his admiration for the various tourist destinations in the region, highlighting Doodhpathri as particularly stunning, especially during snowfall.

“This is my first experience witnessing snowfall firsthand. It has been a dream for my family and me to visit the Kashmir Valley and see the snow in front of us. Finally, this dream has come true,” he said.
Arpan said that tourists should definitely visit the Kashmir Valley to experience its snowfall, which offers a unique experience not found in other states of India. He encouraged visitors to enjoy the snowfall period in the region, noting that Kashmir has significant potential for winter activities. He believes that winter tourism will thrive, attracting more tourists to the valley during this season.
“The people of the Kashmir Valley are very honest. Their demeanor is polite, gentle, and humble. The hospitality of the Kashmiri people is exceptional, unlike anything I have encountered in my life,” he added.
Another tourist from Durgapur, West Bengal said that this was also his first visit to the Kashmir Valley. He described his experience at the Doodhpathri tourist destination as very positive.
“I learned about Doodhpathri from others, which inspired me to visit. I also watched videos of Doodhpathri on YouTube, which further motivated my decision to come here. The scenery is breathtaking, and the snowfall enhances its beauty, making it incredibly appealing for tourists who wish to experience it at least once in their lives,” he said.
He remarked that the Kashmir Valley possesses a serene and tranquil nature, and the hill stations depicted in various films are indeed accessible to tourists in this region. “While I may be able to forget certain aspects of my past but the beauty of the Kashmir Valley will remain etched in my memory, as these experiences are truly unforgettable. The splendor of Doodhpathri offers solace and tranquillity to individuals, allowing them to immerse themselves in nature and alleviate the stress and burdens they encounter in their daily lives.”
He further emphasized that tourists visiting the Kashmir Valley should make it a priority to explore Doodhpathri, as there are numerous attractions awaiting their discovery.
