Telangana tourist family rescued in Gulmarg

Baramulla, May 26: Police rescued a tourist family from the Kongdoori area of Gulmarg here on Friday.
An official said that the family, consisting of three adults and four children hailing from Telangana, had embarked on a Gondola ride to Kangdoori Gulmarg but encountered an unforeseen predicament on their return to Gondola Phase 2nd.
The police swiftly responded to the distress call forming rescue teams.
A police official said they combed the Kongdoori area, relentlessly pursuing the whereabouts of the stranded tourist family.
“After an intense search operation, the police rescue team located the tourist family and promptly brought them back to safety in Gulmarg,” he added.
The family, visibly relieved and grateful for the timely intervention, expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the police.
Police urged the tourists to adhere to the guidelines and recommendations provided by local authorities, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone.
