Tanvir provides cricket kits to youngsters

Srinagar, Mar 12: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, in the ongoing campaign against drug abuse, provided cricket kits to youngsters of JKPCC colony and DD Bagh Badamwari In Zadibal constituency.
“It is the 62nd area of Zadibal to be provided with sports equipment,” the party said in a press release.
Tanvir underlined the value of accepting positive activities and rejecting negative ones. “It’s important to emphasise that this campaign is only a part of the larger attempt to support cricket clubs in the Zadibal area,” he added.
Before this, the NC spokesperson had given out cricket kits and other sports equipment to teams in the Zadibal constituency, which includes the neighbourhoods of Chowdhary Bagh, Rainawari, Jogilanker, Doonipora Zadibal, Lalbazar, Soura, Kawdara, Mir Behri Dal, BotShah Mohalla, and others. Items such as cricket sets, hydraulic rollers, Kerala mats, footwear, basketballs, uniforms, etc, are among those given out.
“One of the main reasons I am so dedicated to promoting sports is to prevent youngsters from engaging in anti-social conduct and instead encourage them to engage in positive activities,” Tanvir said.
