Srinagar, July 01: In a new directive aimed at streamlining teaching operations, the Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has instructed all Chief Education Officers to take strict action against staff who have not resumed their original postings after being recalled from attachments.In a communiqué addressed to CEOs, the Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) Dr Naseem Javaid Chowdhary said this office Order No. 171-DSEJ of 2025 dated 19.05.2025 was issued under endorsement No. DSEJ/2025/33880-85 dated 24.06.2025.“Referring to the aforementioned communications, in which directives were provided for the recall of all School Education Department staff who were attached or deployed in offices outside the School Education Department, as well as the dissolution of various cells established at the Directorate, CEO, and ZEO levels, with instructions for the staff working in those cells to return to their original places of posting immediately, without the benefit of any joining time, and to resume their teaching responsibilities,” the DSEJ said.Naseem Chowdhary has also instructed all the Chief Education officers to submit a compliance report to the Directorate office by 03.07.2025 without fail and to issue notices for unauthorised absence to any staff member who has not reported back to their original places of posting till this date.
