A massive blaze engulfed in a shopping line at Batamaloo area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar District on Saturday.
An official told Rising Kashmir that fire broke out from a commerical shopping line in Batamaloo Bus Stand at around 2:30 Am.
Officials from F&ES reached the spot and doused off the flames which locals also appreciated.
DFO, Divisional Fire Officer Srinagar City Noor Alam told Rising Kashmir that six shops damaged in this incident and no loss of life has been been reported.
Meanwhile, The cause of the fire is said to be short circuit.
