Srinagar, Aug 15: Janata Dal (United) J&K President G M Shaheen unfurled the national flag on Thursday in celebration of the 78th Independence Day.
Addressing the gathering, Shaheen highlighted the significance of Independence Day and the sacrifices made by countless individuals to achieve it. He prayed for peace and a new beginning for Jammu and Kashmir, expressing his optimism for the region’s future.
“Jammu and Kashmir will soon become one of the most developed states in the country. We are committed to building a strong and prosperous nation,” Shaheen said, according to a party statement issued here.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment to the nation’s progress and unity.
