Udhampur, Sept 21: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the Udhampur East constituency, R S Pathania on Saturday strongly condemned efforts to divide people along caste, religion, clan and regional lines and urged the community to resist such divisive politics.
“There is no truth in these tactics; they are against our people, society and nation,” he said during his election campaign.
With the campaign slogan “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayaas” at the forefront, Pathania said unity is important to build a prosperous nation. “It is time for us to work together for the progress of every individual, regardless of their background. Together, we can achieve true development that benefits all,” he said.
During his visit, Pathania, according to his statement issued here, engaged with locals and addressed key issues such as improving electricity supply, enhancing water resources and creating better employment opportunities for youth. “Our focus is on ensuring that every household has access to basic amenities and that our youth have the right opportunities to grow and contribute to the nation’s progress,” he added.
“The positive response from the people of Battal Ballian, Gudyar, Bredian, Lehdi and Kawa reflected their hope that the BJP’s vision for inclusive development will bring significant change to their region,” the statement said.
