Jammu, Oct 09: Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I (RPFC-I), presided over a convergence meeting at the EPFO Regional Office, Jammu, bringing together various vertical heads of the Ministry of Labour and Employment. The meeting focused on ensuring social security for all eligible members and their families in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.
Among the attendees were Dr. Pankaj Rastogi, Regional Director (IC) DTNBWED, Umesh Hiralal Borkar, RPFC-II, Dushyant Pande, Deputy Director, ESIC, and Jayanta Prasad Belena, AWC Central, along with Vivek Katal, Assistant ESIC, Jammu. Discussions centered on improving coordination among the verticals to enhance service delivery and compliance across the region.
Rizwan Uddin emphasized the importance of collaboration, particularly for the joint conduct of the “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” program in October 2024. He called on all stakeholders to actively participate, highlighting the need for expanded coverage, better compliance, and a stronger information network.
Uddin also praised the efforts of Vivek Katal, who facilitated the processing of joint declaration forms for two employees, Smt. Usha Devi and Ankur Mehra, ensuring they received timely assistance.
The meeting concluded with a commitment from all verticals to target non-compliant establishments and work towards maximum social security coverage in all districts of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.
