Rana advocates inculcating moral values, nurturing holistic growth among students

Mendhar, Apr 16: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology and Environment, and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, on Thursday stressed the importance of inculcating moral values and nurturing holistic growth among students to shape a better future.

The Minister, while participating in the annual day celebrations at IDPS Mendhar, highlighted the role of education in developing both intellect and character among young learners.

Addressing students, teachers and parents, Rana spoke about the changing landscape of education in an era of rapid technological advancement. He said that while digital progress has opened new avenues of learning, it has also underscored the need to instil strong moral values, discipline and a sense of responsibility among students.

Emphasising the shared responsibility of educators and families, he called for a collaborative approach to nurture well-rounded individuals. He urged stakeholders to focus on building resilience, integrity and compassion among young minds so they can contribute meaningfully to society.

The Minister said that instilling respect for diversity and promoting inclusivity from an early age are key to building a progressive and cohesive society.

He also commended the school administration and staff for their commitment to providing quality education and opportunities for students to showcase their talent.

The event featured cultural performances by students, reflecting creativity, confidence and a festive spirit.
