Rajouri, Sep 02: Prof. Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University released the first ever strategic plan of the University on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Akbar said that the Strategic Plan of BGSBU has been drawn to serve as a guiding light to the institution, to bring in efficiency in operation, assist in deciding between competing priorities, take decisions and actions which will lead the institution towards a path of progress and prosperity.
Prof. Akbar said that the strategic plan will guide BGSBU’s goals and priorities over the next decade.
Prof. Akbar said that the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University is conscious of the global challenges including impact of the technological advances, diversification in higher education and the need for bringing forth creativity, innovation and research in all spheres of University life.
Prof. Akbar mentioned that BGSBU’s strategic plan will create a dynamic academic and research environment where the students and faculty will be enabled to perform best in diverse fields of study thereby enhancing the brand value of BGSBU at national and international levels.
The Vice Chancellor said the University has made major accomplishments in the recent past and the strategy plan has designed to continue to improve upon and refine its aspirations.
Those who were present on the occasion included Dr. A A Shah, Associate Dean Academic Affairs, Associate Deans of various schools of studies and Controller of Examination.
