Budgam, July 07: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday said that they have arrested five drivers, one conductor, and seized five tippers loaded with illegally extracted clay in the Soibugh area in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
An official said that during the patrolling at the Soibugh chowk, the police team from the police post soibugh intercepted five tippers bearing registration Numbers JK01P-8145, JK04B-0876, JK02AC-6616, JK04E-9658, and JK04E-8398 transporting illegally extracted clay.
“All five tippers were seized on the spot, and the drivers and one conductor were arrested in this regard,” the official said.
He said that a Case FIR number 184/2023 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Budgam and an investigation has been taken up.
