Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a strong message to Pakistan from Bikaner in Rajasthan. While speaking at the rally in Bikaner the Prime Minister said that India’s swift response has forced Pakistan on its knees. He was referring to the successful conduct of the “Operation Sindoor” in the aftermath of the gruesome Pahalgam carnage orchestrated by the Pakistan trained and sponsored terrorists in which innocent tourists from various parts of India were massacred. While the Indian response was non-esclatory to decimate the terrorist bases and terror centres in Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir(POJK) and Bhawalpur in Pakistan but Pakistan instead of co-operating to nab the terrorists operating from its soil resorted to escalation by using drones and firing missiles on the civilians targets in India. But the Indian Armed Forces thwarted the Pakistani drone attacks. It must be noted that Bikaner was one such border towns were India neutralised the Pakistani drone attacks from 7th to 9th May.Prime Minister spelled out the policy of his government in clear terms by saying that a free hand has been given to all the three wings of the armed forces after the 22nd April terror attack to respond to any eventuality as per the time and place of their choosing to uphold the national interests. He also made it clear that the Rahim Yar Khan air base which is not far from Bikaner has been in ICU because of the Indian airstrikes apt response to the escalation of Pakistan. During his address the Prime Minister told the people about his pledge in which he had said “I swear on this soil, I will not let my country be destroyed, I will not let my country bow down’. Today, from the soil of Rajasthan, I want to tell the countrymen, those who had set out to wipe off the vermilion have been reduced to dust. Those who shed the blood of Hindustan have been accounted for every drop today. Those who thought that India would remain silent are hiding in their homes today. Those who were proud of their weapons are buried under a pile of rubble today.” Talking about the Indian response, he said, “In response to the attack on April 22, we destroyed 9 major terrorist hideouts in just 22 minutes… The enemies of the nation and the world have now seen what happens when vermilion (sindoor) turns into gunpowder…”.He did not stop here but went on to say that “Pakistan can never win in a direct fight with India. Hence, it uses terrorism as a weapon against India. This went on for decades after independence… Pakistan spread terrorism, killed innocent people, and created an environment of terror.. But, Pakistan forgot one thing, now the servant of Mother India, Modi, is standing here with pride. Modi’s mind is cold, but his blood is hot. In Modi’s veins, not blood, but hot Sindoor flows.”Making Indian policy clear on Pakistan he said, “If Pakistan continues to export terrorists, it will be left begging for every penny. Pakistan will not get a single drop of water that belongs to India. Playing with the blood of Indians will cost Pakistan dearly. This is India’s resolve, and no power in the world can deter us from this commitment.” He reaffirmed the policy of his government that there will be no trade or talks with Pakistan.Even if talks take place then these will be focussed on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir(POK).From the Prime Minster’s address it can be internalised that India will uphold its resolve to end terrorism emanating from Pakistan at all costs.
