Srinagar, Apr 25: A delegation of People’s Conference, led by its president Sajad Lone and Senior General Secretary Molvi Imran Reza Ansari, visited the residence of late Aga Syed Mohammad Baqir Al-Moosavi in Budgam on Friday to offer their condolences following the passing of the eminent scholar.
During the visit, Lone reflected on the profound legacy of the revered scholar, emphasising his lifelong efforts to bridge divides and foster harmony within society through his dedicated service and commitment to public welfare.
“The demise of Allama Aga Syed Mohammad Baqir Al-Moosavi Al-Najfi has left an indelible mark on the religious and social fabric of Jammu and Kashmir. He was a deeply respected scholar and spiritual guide, cherished by countless people. May Almighty Allah elevate his ranks and grant him Jannat al-Firdous,” Lone said.
Molvi Imran Reza Ansari also shared heartfelt reflections on the late religious leader, praising his stature, wisdom and noble deeds.
“We mourn the loss of a scholar, a guide and a spiritual beacon whose absence has created an irreplaceable void. Allama Aga Baqir Sahib served as a vital link between the sacred knowledge of Najaf and the lived realities of our people,” he said.
Ansari highlighted the scholar’s unique ability to translate profound theological insights into practical guidance that resonated with individuals from all walks of life.
The PC delegation extended their sincere sympathies to the bereaved family, relatives, and thousands of followers, while praying for eternal peace for the departed soul.
