Panch among three drug peddlers held in Baramulla

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday have arrested three drug peddlers including Panch and recovered 127 grams of contraband Brown Sugar like substance & 252 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus recovered Chellan Boniyar & Mirchimar Mirgund area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

                                                                                                                                                                               

                                                                                                                                                                       A Police Spokesperson said, “Police under the supervision of Shokat Ali-JKPS, SDPO Uri assisted by Kubra Nazir DySP Prob, SHO PS Boniyar arrested Drug Peddler namely Shakeel Ahmad S/O Mohd Hanief Kandal R/O Mawer Nowgam Kupwara who is Panch of ward Nowgam B during naka checking at Chellan Boniyar who tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully by the alert naka party.”

 

“During his personal search 127 grams of contraband Brown Sugar like substance was recovered from him and was taken into custody immediately”, he said.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

 

The spokesperson said that Police under the supervision of Mohd Nawaz-JKPS, SDPO Pattan assisted by PSI Zilal Ahmad, IC PP Mirgund arrested 2 Drug Peddlers namely Gh Mohammad Dar S/O Ab Rehman Dar R/O Mirgund & Manzoor Ahmad Dar S/O Assadullah Dar R/O Chenbal Mirgund during routine patrolling at Mirchimar Mirgund who were coming from towards Mirchimar Mirgund and upon seeing the patrolling party tried to flee from the spot but were apprehended tactfully by the alert patrolling party.

 

“During their personal search 252 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus was recovered from them and were taken into custody immediately.”

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  He said that cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Boniyar & Pattan and investigations set in motion.
