Srinagar, March 20: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday informed the Assembly that no proposal is under consideration for constructing a footbridge from Dharbagh-Shivpora to Kursoo Rajbagh in the Lal Chowk constituency.
This statement came in response to a question raised by National Conference MLA Sheikh Ahsan Ahmad Pardesi, who asked if the government intended to build a footbridge connecting the two areas. In response, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary, who holds the portfolio of Public Works (R&B), stated: “No proposal is under consideration for the construction of a footbridge from Dharbagh Shivpora to Kursoo Rajbagh, as multiple bridges and footbridges already exist in the vicinity of the proposed location.”
