Srinagar, July 21: National Investigation Agency (NIA) along with Jammu and Kashmir Police Friday carried out raids at the house of active terrorist of Hizbul Mujahideen in Marwah area of Kishtwar and seized several digital devices containing massive incriminating data.
A NIA official said that they had conducted raids on the house of an active terrorist of Hizbul Mujahideen in Marwah as Riyaz carries bounty of Rs. 10 lakhs on his head.
The NIA sleuths were accompanied by Jammu and Kashmir police personnel and CRPF jawans
“During the course of searches, the evidence collected shall be investigated so as to subject the accused persons to judicial determination for their involvement in anti-national activities and perpetuation of terrorism,” he said.
The official further disclosed that all those supporters of terrorists whose involvement surfaces during investigations shall also be prosecuted.“The searches are aimed at eliminating the terror ecosystem in the district by identifying various over-ground workers and supporters of terrorists,” he said.
