Weather Update J&K: MeT Predicts Dry Weather, Light Rain at Few Places

Srinagar, April 10: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast a largely stable weather pattern across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days, with intermittent spells of light rain and thundershowers expected at scattered locations.

According to the latest forecast, April 10 will remain generally dry, although a brief spell of light rain or thundershower may occur at a few places towards the late afternoon hours. On April 11, the weather is expected to turn partly to generally cloudy, with light rain likely at scattered places during the late afternoon and evening.

April 12 is predicted to remain mostly dry, with isolated areas possibly witnessing brief light rain during the afternoon. A prolonged dry spell is expected on April 13 and 14, providing stable weather conditions across the Union Territory.

On April 15, weather conditions will largely remain dry, with a slight possibility of isolated light rain in the afternoon. However, a change is expected between April 16 and 17, when generally cloudy skies may bring light rain or thundershowers to scattered locations, particularly during late afternoon and evening hours.

The weather is expected to stabilize again from April 18 to 20, with predominantly dry conditions prevailing across the region.
