NC pay tributes to Mirwaiz Molvi Farooq, Mirwaiz Hamadani, Aga Yousaf Moosvi

Srinagar, May 20: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Monday paid tributes to Mirwaiz Mujahid Ahmadullah Hamadani (RA), Aga Syed Yousaf Al Moosvi Al Safvi (RA) and “Shaheed-e-Millat” Mirwaiz Molvi Farooq on their death anniversaries.
“These great religious leaders were persuasive, forceful and well-versed orators with unparalleled depth of insight, profundity of scholarship and ease of illuminating exposition,” the duo said in a press release issued here.
Recalling the immense contribution of Mirwaizeen and Aga Syed Yousaf Al Moosvi Al Safvi, they said their contribution to the field of Islamic learning, theology and contemporary education will be remembered for ages to come.
Among others, Ali Muhammad Sagar, Shammi Oberoi, Tanvir Sadiq, Mushtaq Guroo, Mudassar Shahmiri, Senior leaders Sharief Ud Din Shariq, Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Mian Altaf Ahmad, Abdul Rahim Rather, Muhammad Shafi Uri have also paid rich tributes to late Mirwaizain and Aga Syed Yousaf Ali Moosvi Al Safvi.
