Bandipora, July 10: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Bandipora, Nizamuddin Bhat on Thursday visited the historic Sharda Temple in Kaloosa Bandipora, where he interacted with the Pandit community and inspected the ongoing construction of the pilgrim tourism hostel near the temple.During his visit, Bhat assured the Pandits of full support to facilitate pilgrims and ensure the timely completion of the hostel for visiting devotees. He appreciated the communal harmony in Jammu and Kashmir, recalling the days when Hindu and Muslim communities lived together in peace and brotherhood and expressed hope that this spirit will continue in the future.”Preserving communal harmony is essential for the progress of the Union Territory,” the Congress leader said. He reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen bonds between communities.Representatives of local Pandit community expressed gratitude to the MLA for his visit and for taking steps to promote pilgrim tourism while addressing the concerns of the minority community in the area.
