MLA Bhat inaugurates new ICU at District Hospital Bandipora

Bandipora, May 05: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Bandipora, Nizamuddin Bhat on Monday inaugurated the newly established Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at District Hospital Bandipora.
The MLA, accompanied by the Medical Superintendent Dr Masrat Iqbal Wani, toured various sections of the hospital to assess the quality of services being provided. During his visit, he interacted with patients and their attendants, seeking direct feedback on the healthcare facilities and patient care standards.
Expressing satisfaction over the improvements in the hospital, Bhat reiterated his commitment to enhancing health services in the district. “Patient care is our topmost priority. I am pleased to see positive changes in the functioning of the hospital and assure continued efforts to provide accessible and quality healthcare to the people of Bandipora,” he said.
The inauguration of the ICU is expected to greatly enhance emergency medical response capabilities in the district, especially for critical patients requiring intensive monitoring and care.
Local residents and hospital staff welcomed the initiative, calling it a much-needed development that will benefit thousands across the region.
