Srinagar, Sep 02: In a shocking incident a 15-year-old boy named Burhan Ahmad was brutally stabbed to death in the Chinar Bagh area on Saturday. The heart-wrenching murder has left the victim’s family devastated.
The Srinagar police, via their official microblogging account, confirmed that they have apprehended a juvenile whose identity has been withheld. This minor is accused of stabbing and murdering Burhan Ahmad.
The police also successfully recovered the weapon used in the heinous crime, which had been discarded by the accused in a marshy area shortly after the incident occurred.
The incident has been registered under FIR no 36/2023 at the Kothibagh Police Station, reflecting the seriousness with which the law enforcement agencies are treating this case.
Adding to the distressing nature of this tragedy, it has been reported that on the evening prior to the attack, Burhan Ahmad had received threats from the accused individuals. This raises questions about the possible motive behind the crime and whether there were any underlying issues that led to this horrific act.
