A man lost his life after being hit by a speedy tipper near Zafron Colony area of Pantha Chowk here on Thursday, officials said.
An official told that a middle-aged man, riding a scooty bearing registration number JK05A-9747 was injured, after being hit by a speedy tipper vehicle near Khubani departmental store of Zaffron Colony Pantha Chowk here.
He has been identified as Abdul Rashid Dar, son of Abdul Khaliq Dar, a resident of Achanambal Zaffron Colony.
He said the man was shifted to SDH Pampore, where he was declared brought dead on arrival.
