Pulwama, April 16: A government teacher has been suspended for breach of model code of conduct in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Chief Education Officer (CEO) Pulwama, Abdul Qayoom, informed Rising Kashmir that a teacher, Javid Ahmad, from Kakapora education zone has been placed under suspension in violation of model code of conduct (MCC) .
The CEO said that it was reported to the office of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama that the said teacher was in the company of a political party.
He added that the office had received photographic evidence of the teacher’s involvement with the political activist.
“We placed him under suspension after confirming that he was in the company of the political activist a few days ago ,” the CEO Pulwama said, adding that they have also initiated an inquiry into the issue.
He added that till further inquiry the teacher will remain under suspension.
