Srinagar, Nov 09 : Aspirants of the combined competitive examination (preliminary) on Thursday alleged discrepancies in the revised answer key for the General Studies Paper-I provided by the J&K Public Service Commission (JKPSC).
Aspirants told the Rising Kashmir that the JKPSC conducted the combined competitive examination, Preliminary 2023 on October 15, 2023 across the Jammu and Kashmir and released the provisional key on the same day.
“However, on October 27, 2023, the results were declared along with the revised final answer key. In the revised answer key, 4 questions have been deleted and the answers for 10 questions have been revised,” aspirants said.
Raees Ahmad, one of the aspirants said that they approached JKPSC offices in Srinagar and Jammu. “We have also submitted the necessary representations to JKPSC, detailing the errors with the required proof. But we did not get any proper response from the JKPSC.”
Aspirants have requested the Chairman of the JKPSC to look into the matter and check all the errors that are available in the revised final answer key.
Meanwhile, Satish Chandra, Chairman of the JKPSC said that the submissions made by the aspirants have been presented to an expert panel, and based on their assessment; necessary changes will be made to two questions, while the rest will remain unchanged.
