Jammu, Apr 25: The Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party (Bhim) has strongly condemned the “deliberate exclusion” of the party from the All Party Meet convened by the Jammu and Kashmir government on April 24, 2025.
In a formal communication addressed to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the JKNPP (Bhim) president Vilakshan Singh expressed deep disappointment and concern over what he termed a “calculated affront” to the voice of the Dogras and a blatant act of discrimination against the Jammu region.
“The exclusion of our party is not a mere procedural oversight—it is a reflection of the persistent and systemic bias shown by Kashmir-centric political forces against parties representing the aspirations of the Jammu region,” Singh said, according to a statement issued here.
He further highlighted that the J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim) is the only political outfit that has contested elections from all five parliamentary constituencies of Jammu & Kashmir, thereby representing a truly inclusive and pan-territorial voice.
Singh said the Panthers Party (Bhim) has consistently championed the rights of the poor, the downtrodden, and the Dogra community, and that such exclusion is a manifestation of the National Conference-led government’s unwillingness to engage with dissenting yet democratic voices.
“The people of Jammu are watching, and such acts of political discrimination will neither be forgotten nor tolerated,” Singh warned, calling upon the Chief Minister to uphold democratic values and ensure fair representation of all recognised political parties in crucial deliberative platforms.
The JKNPP (Bhim) said it is committed to unity, justice and democratic participation across all regions of the Union Territory.
